1) Make sure that you have Malaysian currency i.e. Ringgit (RM): don't forget to exchange your currency from your country or in case you are traveling with USD then you can exchange them very easily

2) Don't forget to buy a sim card upon your arrival at Kaula Lumpur International Airport: the cost of the sim card may vary but possibly you can get a sim card under 50 RM with 30 GB data internet.

3) Download the Moovit App: this app going to help you in finding public transport facilities around you

4) Buy a RAPID KL Card: if you are planning to move within the city by public transport then buy this card because this card will work in all the places like Metro, Buses, etc and you can get this card from any Metro Station. the cost of the card is 20 RM and you will get a 15 RM balance for tour traveling you can recharge this card also from any metro station. and for the students, there is a special concession that you can apply for it after furnishing all the requirements from your university.

5) Download the Grab App: this app is also very useful to book cars like ola & Uber. you can also order food from this app. this app is going to help you a lot.
